ANNOUNCING OUR NEW ADVENTURE!!!
I've been dying to share this news with all of you but didn't want to jinx it before the land deal was signed. Remember my last post about the barn? Well.....we are building on the exact site of that old barn! In fact, the guys that tore it down didn't do a very good job of cleaning up after themselves so I snagged that large beam I talked about and hope to creat a fireplace mantle or something with it.
It's going to be a HUGE undertaking, especially since we are acting as our own contractor, but I'm hoping it will save us enough $$$ that we can buy some nice new furnishings.

Just so you're aware, we are painters extraordinaire!!! And don't tell him I told you, but Kody also knows how to do tile and laminate (pergo- it's really pretty easy). Actually, there isn't much he can't do! We have also attended one or two insulating parties in our day.
I'm so excited for you! Jay is getting the itch to move. But he won't move to Utah so we wont be able to be neighbors:( We have been at the same address for the last 16 years, so I don't realy think we will go anywhere, besides we only have a little over 7 years before the house and farm is paid for and don't want to get into anymore debt. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! But please make sure you update your blog every chance you get so I can see your progess! Have FUN!!! <3 T
Just yesterday Megan was telling me you were moving your house closer to theirs. I asked moving their house??? She's like ya Carson has to help his dad move their house closer to ours...so he can't play as often now. Now I get it! Thats so exciting for you -- and just so you know I would love to help with anything so you better call me!
